About the role
The Fund Administration Manager will act as the client lead for day‑to‑day administration of a portfolio of venture‑capital clients. Reporting to the Client Services Director, you will oversee deliverables, coach the team and ensure high‑quality service in a fast‑moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate administration for a portfolio of VC funds, management companies and related vehicles, liaising with clients and third parties.
- Serve as an “A” level signatory on administration matters, ensuring policies, procedures and service standards are met.
- Oversee investment transactions, payments, receipts and investor movements, and review all related deliverables.
- Manage complex fund‑operation tasks such as entity set‑up, licensing, tax authority applications and due‑diligence collation.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure timely regulatory filings.
- Supervise, train and develop staff, leading performance‑development processes.
Required profile
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience with at least 2 years of people‑management.
- Professional qualification (CGI/ICSA, ACCA, ACA) and minimum 6 years of fund‑administration experience.
Required skills
- Knowledge of GFSC regulations.
- Understanding of the Protection of Investors law.
- Familiarity with anti‑money‑laundering regulations.
