Hotel Manager – Live‑in accommodation in Guernsey

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead the operations of a well‑established hotel in Guernsey. The role offers live‑in accommodation and the chance to shape the guest experience in a beautiful island setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day hotel operations and report to the Operations Director.
• Build, train and motivate a high‑performing department head team.
• Maintain operational standards, manage staff rotas and ensure visible presence during peak periods.
• Control profitability by monitoring cost of sales, reducing waste and collaborating with the Head Chef on gross profit margins.
• Identify and drive revenue opportunities through seasonal packages, staycations, themed events and social media.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire and food hygiene regulations and maintain relationships with VisitGuernsey.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality management, such as Hotel Manager, Deputy GM or Operations Manager.
• Strong financial and strategic acumen with ability to manage budgets and drive commercial performance.
• Excellent leadership and team‑building skills.
