Kitchen Assistant – Part‑time (30 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operations of our nursing home kitchen. The role involves preparing meals, snacks and refreshments for residents while upholding the highest standards of safety, hygiene and care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals, snacks and drinks for residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with Guernsey care standards.
• Ensure safe moving and handling practices when transporting food and equipment.
• Support the kitchen team with stock management and basic food safety tasks.
