Business Improvement Specialist

About the role

The Business Improvement Specialist will act as a bridge between multiple stakeholders to deliver cost‑effective, high‑impact business and management information solutions. Leveraging broad business knowledge, the role focuses on process design, re‑engineering, and application integration to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and capture business requirements through workshops and meetings.
• Produce Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) for internal and external teams.
• Design new system configurations, workflow charts, and diagrams based on gathered requirements.
• Document and continuously improve business processes, recommending modifications where needed.
• Support change initiatives by designing, testing, deploying, and providing post‑implementation support.
• Maintain the integrity of core business applications and ensure compliance with change control procedures.
• Assist stakeholders in preparing business cases for improvement projects.
• Participate in the Application Change Control & Review Board to oversee project delivery.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical specifications.
• Proven experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to work independently while supporting cross‑functional delivery teams.
