Relationship Manager – Wealth Management

About the role

The Relationship Manager is the primary point of contact for high‑net‑worth clients, acting as an ambassador for Julius Baer and driving proactive acquisition of new relationships in the Guernsey market.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and develop relationships with HNWIs and UHNWIs, identifying new business opportunities to grow revenue.
• Build and maintain a strong network of clients and stakeholders to generate referrals and introductions.
• Create and deliver targeted pitches highlighting the bank’s unique value proposition.
• Collaborate with internal investment, advisory, and product teams to develop tailored solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
• Introduce the bank’s products and services, providing cross‑selling and tailored investment solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and support business development skill growth.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold the highest professional standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in wealth management or private banking.
• Strong interpersonal skills, results‑driven, and able to work autonomously under pressure.
• Excellent judgment, commercial acumen, and ability to match client needs with product solutions.
• Familiarity with the Guernsey market, legal and regulatory environment, and global financial markets.
• Professional qualification such as Investment Advice Diploma (Level 4) or equivalent.
