Graduate Business Manager - Business Management, Guernsey

About the role

Julius Baer is recruiting a Graduate Business Manager for its Business Management team in St. Peter Port, Guernsey, within the Western Markets & Switzerland/Chief of Staff unit. The team supports Private Banking teams through project management, financial analysis, risk and strategy work, and reports to the Head of Business Support and Head of Change. The programme starts on 1 April 2027, lasts 18 months and includes rotations, on- and off-the-job training and an international assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Relationship Managers, Market Area Heads and Front Management to support business strategy and key initiatives
• Deliver management information, dashboards and data-driven insights for decision-making and supervision
• Track and analyse market area financial performance against plans
• Contribute to change, transformation and strategic projects such as client experience, regulation, process optimisation, technology and revenue generation
• Work with Risk, Compliance, Finance and Operations to deliver business objectives and governance
• Assist with risk management, regulatory requirements and communications (presentations, strategy papers, town halls, newsletters)
• Support project management and coordinate local and global business initiatives
• Help Relationship Managers use business tools, reporting and performance management frameworks

Required profile

• Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences, graduated within 36 months
• Initial practical experience in banking or finance (e.g. summer or internship) is helpful
• Eligibility to work in Guernsey
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team, resilient and adaptable to change
