Senior Hair Stylist

About the role

Allbeauty is looking for a talented and personable Senior Hair Stylist to join its team of hair and beauty specialists in the St Peter Port salon on Smith Street, Guernsey. The role reports to the Salon Manager and follows a schedule of 09:00-18:00 on Tuesdays to Fridays and 09:00-17:00 on Saturdays. You will be supported from day one in building a strong book of clients and delivering a top-class salon experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on the latest fashion trends.
• Cut, colour and style at the highest level.
• Demonstrate the latest products and techniques.
• Promote client rebooking, cross-selling and up-selling of services and products.
• Assist with the training and development of apprentice and junior stylists.

Required profile

• A trained and highly competent hair stylist with at least an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
• 3-4 years' experience in a busy salon and used to maintaining a book of clients.
• Creative and innovative, with a real passion for hair.
• Self-motivated, with great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
