Assistant Manager, Funds KYC

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Funds KYC will co‑lead the KYC team, supporting the Guernsey Funds business in onboarding investors and providing ongoing support to Fund Administration teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with fund administrators, investment managers, investors and other stakeholders while ensuring compliance with AML/KYC, regulatory and risk requirements.
• Drive the investor onboarding process, manage due‑diligence, risk profiling, periodic reviews and report progress to senior stakeholders.
• Accurately collate, record and maintain investor information, supporting review and sign‑off of low‑risk files.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Senior Management and wider Funds business to identify, escalate and manage risks, and provide guidance to junior KYC team members.

Required profile

• Professional qualification or relevant industry experience with strong knowledge of CDD/KYC reviews in the funds industry.
• Good understanding of AML/KYC requirements; knowledge of FATCA and CRS is a distinct advantage.
• Proven client‑facing skills and ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and provide accurate reporting to boards and senior stakeholders.
