Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to prepare financial statements, investor reports and Net Asset Value (NAV) reports while meeting strict accounting deadlines. The role involves collaborating with the wider fund accounting team and delivering high‑quality service to both internal and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, investor reports and NAV reports in line with strict deadlines.
• Collaborate with Senior Fund Accountants and Fund Accounting Managers to support client portfolios and projects.
• Maintain accurate records, follow accounting procedures and assist compliance with client reviews and issue reporting.
• Deliver high‑quality service to internal and external clients while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build commercial and regulatory knowledge and present financial information effectively to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fund accounting with a strong understanding of financial processes and controls.
• Strong commitment to delivering high‑quality client service in a detail‑oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach.
• Technical proficiency, adaptability to new systems and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, FCA, CA(SA) or equivalent.
