Associate Relationship Manager – Financial Intermediaries

About the role

The Financial Intermediaries (FI) team in Guernsey is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager to support regulated trust and corporate service providers, wealth managers, private family offices, captives and life companies. This hybrid role offers exposure to a full range of banking products and serves as a training ground for future Relationship Manager positions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily banking activities for clients, including deposits and account administration.
• Support Relationship Managers and Directors with client meetings, research and follow‑up actions.
• Progress new account enquiries and collaborate with the account opening team.
• Partner with fellow ARMs to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operation of the FI desk.
• Follow compliance procedures and flag any potential non‑compliance issues.
• Continuously develop skills through training and development opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in financial services, banking or client support, preferably with exposure to deposits, account opening or cash management.
• Good understanding of financial services products and markets, with the ability to learn quickly.
• Strong client focus and confidence in supporting client relationships.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and ability to identify improvement opportunities.
