Senior Onboarding Adviser – Client Onboarding

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Onboarding Adviser to enhance the client onboarding experience for its Guernsey office. You will act as the primary liaison between engagement teams, clients, and the KYC Operations team, ensuring smooth and compliant onboarding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to AML‑related queries and provide guidance on KYC procedures, policies, and systems.
• Communicate onboarding status to engagement teams, escalating issues early and proactively solving problems.
• Guide clients and engagement teams through the KYC process, collecting required documentation to satisfy AML requirements.
• Serve as the conduit between KYC Operations and client/engagement teams to ensure correct interpretation of requirements.
• Act as the first point of contact for KYC Operations queries, leveraging existing data and local industry knowledge.
• Charge all onboarding time to the appropriate WBS codes and provide accurate management information.

Required profile

• Senior Associate level with experience in risk, compliance, or KYC onboarding.
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT policies and client acceptance procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
