Associate - Risk, Regulation and FinTech

About the role

PwC Channel Islands is seeking an Associate to join its Risk, Regulation and FinTech team. You will work on a variety of projects for financial services clients, helping them navigate complex regulatory environments, implement innovative technology solutions, and manage financial crime risks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in confirming compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
• Support the design and implementation of cutting‑edge financial technology solutions.
• Contribute to regulatory due‑diligence for buy‑side and sell‑side transactions.
• Help manage multi‑million‑pound remediation programmes within the financial services sector.
• Participate in anti‑financial crime consulting and managed services engagements.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, law, economics or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in regulatory risk and fintech.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior client stakeholders.
• Motivation to develop a career in advisory within a leading professional services firm.

Required skills

• Understanding of financial services regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with fintech concepts and emerging technologies.
• Ability to analyse data and produce clear, actionable recommendations.
