Manager, Alliance Driver, Risk Assurance Services

About the role

PwC's Channel Islands firm (Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney) is hiring a Manager, Alliance Driver, Risk Assurance Services, based in Guernsey or Jersey. The role sits in the Risk Assurance Team and drives the Microsoft Alliance strategy for the firm. It involves supervising and developing teams, managing client accounts and executing strategic initiatives while maintaining quality standards. The position is a 37.5-hour week and reports to a Senior Manager, Director or equivalent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client accounts to confirm alignment with strategic initiatives.
• Drive the execution of exceptional deliverables across projects.
• Identify and implement unique propositions for the Microsoft Alliance.
• Foster collaboration and communication within the Alliance team.
• Confirm adherence to professional standards and quality benchmarks.
• Analyse market trends to inform strategic direction and pipeline development.
• Build relationships with key Alliance executives, identify synergies between the technology and the firm, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and execute the strategy and business plan, focusing on market penetration, revenue growth and solution development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; master's degree preferred.
• 5 years of partner and alliance management and relationship management experience, with a track record of driving demand and successful programs.
• Experience helping clients achieve substantial and complex business change; experience assuring or enabling change at scale is desirable.
• Experience providing expert strategy, risk and technical advice on technology solutions for live and planned client projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and a mentoring approach.
• Limited travel, up to 25%.

Required skills

• Relationship management and partnership building.
• Preferred certifications: MBA, Chartered Institute of Marketing, MSc or BSc Computer Science.
