About the role

EY is accepting speculative applications and expressions of interest for its Undergraduate Assurance Internship 2027 in Guernsey. The Channel Islands Summer Internship is a four-week paid work experience programme that immerses you in life at EY, working alongside clients and colleagues who started their careers at the same stage. It focuses on communication, team building, networking and learning about what matters to people at EY.

To apply, you must be a resident of Guernsey or hold the correct permissions to live and work there, because work permits or visas cannot be obtained for this role.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate assurance documentation for review
• Help in nominated audit areas and/or deliver and complete work for smaller clients
• Learn the audit process in depth from your peers
• Complete work allocated by team members within agreed deadlines
• Use the firm's knowledge resources to understand client and business issues
• Gather and analyse data and perform low-level audit testing to support the team

Required profile

• A-Levels, Highers or equivalent, or studying towards a degree
• Local to the Channel Islands or a close family connection to the Islands
• Ability to take part in the online strengths-based competency testing used in the assessment process
