Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist

About the role

We are seeking a locum consultant gastroenterologist to join our existing team and deliver high‑quality secondary care to the Guernsey community (approximately 65,000 residents). The role backfills a substantive vacancy and offers flexible working arrangements, including job‑share options.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive secondary care gastroenterology services to the Guernsey community.
• Collaborate with existing consultants and nursing staff to develop new on‑island services and improve patient choice.

Required profile

• Full GMC registration, ideally on the GMC Specialist Register for Gastroenterology or within six months of obtaining it.
• Accreditation in General Internal Medicine is desirable, though not required for on‑call duties.
