Sales Assistant – Guernsey

About the role

Mountain Warehouse is looking for a Sales Assistant in Guernsey. You will help the store run efficiently and deliver an excellent shopping experience, from keeping presentation standards high to creating a welcoming atmosphere, while representing the brand with pride and putting health, safety and wellbeing first.

Key responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, share knowledge and skills and help train new and existing team members
• Assist with day-to-day store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Process transactions accurately and handle various payment methods
• Keep the sales floor clean, organised and well-stocked, and stay up to date on product features, promotions and pricing
• Help set up and run in-store promotions and displays
• Engage customers, answer their questions and concerns and represent the brand professionally
• Work with the team to meet and exceed sales targets and support store management in finding growth opportunities

Required profile

• Commitment to outstanding customer service and passion for retail
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour
• Energetic, driven and reliable team player
